According to research carried out by online retailer AppliancesDirect.co.uk an update to your kitchen can help you save an average of 51% in kitchen related energy bills in comparison to 15 years ago.
Improvements in legislation and design have led to greater energy efficiency ratings which in turn offers great energy savings over the lifetime of your kitchen. You could save hundreds of pounds on energy bills when the time is right to upgrade as well as reducing the environmental impact inefficient appliances have. Freezers and combination fridge freezers have seen the largest drop in energy usage followed by tumble dryers and washing machines.
